Election: Presidential Caucuses in Nevada

Pursuant to Nevada law, Nevada does not conduct Primary Elections to select Presidential candidates. Instead,major political parties hold caucuses. The Clark County Election Department is not involved in the conduct of caucuses and you should contact the Democratic or Republican party for information.The major political parties have provided the following (and it is subject to change without notice):

Democratic Caucus
Date:   January 21, 2012
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Arrive at your site by 11:00 a.m. to sign in.
Locations:   Locate your specific location by signing-in at the Democratic Party website.  Several caucus sites will be available throughout the County.

Voter Registration:   You may register to vote, including changing your party affiliation to Democrat, at the caucus location when you arrive.
Republican Caucus
Date:   February 4, 2012
Time: Tentatively 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Locations:   Locate your specific location by signing-in at the Republican website.  Twenty-Nine (29) caucus sites will be available throughout the County.
